Abstract

This article entitled “Teaching-learning process in times of Coronavirus: the case of FCTA, Universidade Pedagógica de Maputo, Mozambique” aims to analyze the experiences lived by teachers at FCTA, Universidade Pedagógica. Specific: to describe the teaching-learning process during the period of the State of Emergency in the country, to share the distance teaching-learning experiences of the FCTA teachers and to propose measures for the integration of the platforms used in this period in face-to-face teaching. For this, the following methods and techniques were used: bibliographic research, documentary research, life history, comparative and structured interview. The results revealed that the teaching-learning process in times of Coronavirus continues in the distance modality using several platforms, especially WhatsApp, as it is the most accessible, cheap, interactive and, therefore, the most inclusive. The new teaching-learning modality requires training of the teaching staff but most received general training (annual training of teachers) and not specific. However, there were lessons learned that will be improved and applied in the classroom.
